 After a security concern - the server has been attacked by a Russian malware - tilusNet is up again, apparently without any loss.

 New Photo Album: Lisbon

Lisbon, a relatively small capital, maybe that's why I liked it - it preserves its old face, one can see the trace of time in many parts of the city. You can find everything you'd look for in a capital, but in the same time is quiet and not that crowded. And it's cheap!

New Photo Album: Sintra and Cabo da Roca

Portuguese countryside this time. West of Lisbon, Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well with his Castle of the Moors (Castelo dos Mouros) rising above.
We stopped here for a few hours in the afternoon on our way to the ocean; in the end we were actually chased down by a strong storm coming from the Atlantic (check out the pictures from the top of the mountain).
By the time we arrived to the sea it was already dark, so I took only two long exposure pictures [1], [2]
at Cabo da Roca, "where the land ends and the sea begins" as the well known Portuguese poet, Luís de Camões defines it.
Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of the European continent.

Nantes pictures are on the site. There was a quite cold weather and strong winds - yes, the Atlantic can bite! - so I didn't take many pictures. Anyway, my old friend Euriel was there to be a good companion!

Compact, downloadable Slideshow available!
Finally here it is: the first compact, downloadable Slideshow was added to tilusNet photoGallery. This new kind of slideshow has replaced the previous, Lightbox based musical slideshows. The advantages are several: - The slideshows performance doesn't depend anymore on network bandwidth;
- The slideshows are downloadable ("take it & have it"), so you don't have to be online to watch it;
- They are based on the popular Adobe Acrobat PDF format, so practically can be watched on any system, Windows, Mac or Linux (you can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from the Adobe site if you still don't have it)
The first PDF slideshow on the site is about Retezat (Retyezát) Mountains. On the page(s) look for the links looking like , follow the basic instructions and the slideshow will begin to download. Enjoy! |  |

New Photo Album: Retezat [Retyezát] Mountains
 | Retezat (Retyezát) Mountains pictures are uploaded. Taken in October, in extreme weather, near the Bucura Lake in the Southern Carpathians - snowstorms, cold, sunrise, frozen sunshine and bright weather is all there.

Header design changed
I thought about adding a kind of a logo to the site: a stylised pillar-top. Colour scheme is the same, orange with light blue.
So that being done, I changed the photoGallery's header as well. Take a look!

Slideshows restored, but without sound
Quicker than expected, the slideshows are restored already!
However, the music is still disabled, I'll still have to find a solution for that preload feature.
In conclusion, use confidently the slideshow feature, they should all work fine, except that no sound will be heared. Notice comes when that's fixed. |  | [/html]
